9am-3pm Monday-Friday (hours may vary), Full time

Marvin Windows Showroom Sales Ambassador Position Overview


Huskey Building Supply is a leader in Marvin window products, providing premium solutions to builders and architects in Middle Tennessee and beyond. Our state-of-the-art showroom, located in historic downtown Franklin, showcases the latest in Marvin windows and doors, along with other high-quality building materials. We take pride in offering expert guidance and a first-class experience to every guest.


We are looking for a Marvin Windows Showroom Sales Ambassador who specializes in Marvin Windows & Doors with a strong design background and preferably experience in the building industry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the opportunity to curate world-class customer experiences while engaging with builders, architects, and their clients. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of windows, doors, and architectural design and be able to guide clients through our product offerings, particularly Marvin windows and doors.


As Marvin Windows Showroom Sales Ambassador, you will be the face of Huskey’s customer experience and the go-to expert with customers seeking premium window solutions from Marvin. With a strong background in window products and exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service experience, you will provide individualized consultation and assistance, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Your role will combine a customer-first approach with in-depth product knowledge, addressing questions, providing solutions, and guiding clients through the selection, purchase, and service experience. You will be an advocate for Huskey’s long-standing commitment to our customers and community and Marvin’s commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and innovation in window products.


Key Responsibilities

First and foremost, you will serve as a gracious and polished host in our showroom, ensuring every visitor is welcomed and provided with a curated first-class showroom experience. This includes maintaining the showroom’s visual appeal and organization and ensuring product displays remain fresh and engaging.

  • Educate guests on and promote Marvin window and door product lines, including performance features, and customization options.
  • Work closely with builders, architects, and their clients to recommend the best solutions for their projects, including new and existing homes.
  • Provide design expertise, helping builders, architects and their clients select Marvin windows and doors that fit their project needs.

Additional Responsibilities

Sales & Order Support:

  • Assist with product demonstrations, showroom events, and educational sessions.
  • Create relationships with potential customers in-person, by phone and through electronic communication. Provide white-glove service to all who contact Huskey’s Marvin Showroom.
  • Assist in generating sales by understanding customer requirements and desires, and recommend suitable products, including upselling when applicable.
  • Process orders, ensuring accurate product configurations, and collaborate with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the Design and Installation teams to ensure product specifications fit and timelines align with customer expectations.
  • Perform post-sale and installation follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns promptly, resolving issues, and handling customers in a personalized, professional and efficient manner.
  • Product Knowledge & Training:
  • Remain current on the latest industry trends, technologies and energy efficiency standards as well as Marvin’s product innovations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and product knowledge sessions to further develop expertise.
  • Educate customers on Marvin’s warranty policies and product care best practices.
  • Be the ambassador for and expert on Marvin’s products throughout Huskey’s 300+ person team.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure smooth communication and exceptional customer experience.
  • Work closely with the Sales Coordination [Inside Sales], Operations and Installation and Service teams to ensure accurate purchasing and timely delivery, installation and post-installations services of products.
  • Assist in resolving internal and external issues that may arise during procurement, receipt, delivery, installation and post-installation, ensuring customers are satisfied at all stages of the process.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Background in design (interior design, architecture or a related field).
  • Experience in the building industry (preferred, especially with windows and doors).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ability to present and educate customers on premium products.
  • A passion for architecture, materials, and building solutions.
  • Self-starter and desire to learn new products and keep current on construction design trends.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to ensuring accuracy in product specifications, orders, and communications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the window and door industry or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience, with a demonstrated ability to engage with customers, address their needs, and build lasting relationships is [a plus or required].
  • Familiarity with Marvin or similar high-end window and door products, including their features, benefits, and customization options, is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant systems (experience with specific window or sales software is a plus).

Schedule and Work Environment

  • Flexible Full-Time Position
  • A typical workday is 9 AM to 3 PM, with pre-scheduled appointments periodically that fall outside of those hours.
  • Work in a beautifully finished, cutting-edge showroom in historic downtown Franklin featuring Marvin’s industry-leading window and door solutions.
  • Collaborate with top architects, builders, and their clients on high-end projects.
