Join Instructure as the Director of Product for Learner Mobility, where you'll drive innovation in educational access and empower millions of learners globally. You'll lead a talented team of Product Managers, working closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Experience, and Sales, to develop and deliver new products that streamline academic learner mobility. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will be a key leader in driving our growth strategy through a strongly differentiated and innovative solution set in the market.


Learner Mobility at Instructure encompasses Parchment’s suite of products focused on admissions, dual enrollment, and credit transfer– all designed to simplify the educational journeys for students and institutions and strongly backed by the Parchment brand credentialing platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Product Leadership:
  • Define and execute the product vision and strategy for Learner Mobility, aligning with Instructure's overall mission and business objectives.
  • Prioritize product roadmap features based on data analysis, customer feedback, and strategic business goals.
  • Lead the product team through the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and market research, through ensuring delivery of product requirements, to successful launch and iteration.
  • Customer and Market Focus:
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in learner mobility.
  • Engage directly with customers and prospects to deeply understand their needs and challenges, translating insights into product functionality.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the processes supporting learner academic mobility, including admissions, dual enrollment, and transfer.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Ensure work of portfolio development teams align with business priorities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of globally distributed Product Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and quality.
  • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and create opportunities for professional growth.
  • Drive recruitment efforts to build a high-performing product team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Experience, and Sales teams to ensure fluid creation and uptake of new features and services.
  • Communicate product strategy and roadmap updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Measure product success by defining and tracking key performance indicators, and utilize those measurements to drive product iteration.

$160,000 - $166,000 a year

Plus a 10% annual bonus
