Field Service Technician - Digital Printing

  • Title: Field Service Technician - Digital Printing (printing and bindery: 3 years required)
  • Job Location: Placentia CA
  • Provide Customer Service based technical support during field visits, dispatches, phone calls
  • Manage all aspects of on-site installation, training, repair, maintenance and test tasks
  • Preventive or Periodic Maintenance of assigned accounts
  • Some travel
  • Accurately diagnose, resolve and follow up on errors or technical problems
  • Phone support for existing customer base
  • Work with sense of urgency
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems
  • Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
  • Build positive relationships with customers
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
  • Promote, market and develop future business for the company
  • Follow all company policies, procedures and protocols
  • Proven field service experience (minimum of 5 years)
  • Experience with some of the following equipment: Mimaki, Cutworx, Summa, Morgana/Intec, Summa and Valiani.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator as it relates to printing
  • Good people skills
  • Willing to travel
  • Organized, professional, competent, reliable
  • Knowledge of computer-based technology and comfortability utilizing electronic forms of communication
  • Existing book of business to potentially be transferred
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Results oriented
  • Driver’s License with clean driving record
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
  • English literacy
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
  • Technical degree or certifications (desired but not required)
