Job Description:

L3Harris Interstate Electronics Corporation (IEC) is looking for a senior Program Manager to support the Range & Test Solutions business area. The Program Manager will be responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned programs while achieving key business results and customer satisfaction.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee all phases of program management, from concept to closure
  • Develop comprehensive program plans, including schedule, budgets, staffing, and other plan elements
  • Manage programs to achieve program and business objectives
  • Monitor program execution, tracking progress against plans and take corrective actions to course correct as necessary
  • Manage risks and opportunities to ensure program success
  • Act as the primary interface with customers, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
  • Provide clear, concise program status updates to both management and customers
  • Lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve goals
  • Lead proposal preparation to support new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience as a Project/Program Manager
  • 4 years experience in Project/Program Management methodologies and practices
  • 4 years experience in in proposal preparation, including developing cost estimates, schedules, and technical content, to support bids and contract negotiations
  • 4 years experience in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology and its application
  • Up to 20% of travel may be expected.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with DoD programs
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and various levels of management.
  • Formal training in Project Management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of directing teams toward successful project outcomes
  • PMI certification (e.g. PMP)
  • Active DoD security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to DoD classified information.

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $104,500 - $193,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), EAP, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
