The AR Specialist (Remote in AZ, TX, NC, SC, or FL) is responsible for collecting outstanding receivables from assigned collection cases following policies and procedures set forth. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service that meets and exceeds internal and external customer expectations. They are effective communicators who can express themselves daily in a professional manner both verbally and in writing, as well as a proactive professional who can identify trends and solve them promptly. They are a key player in maximizing collections efforts to enhance the overall Accounts Receivable performance. This position reports to the RCM Manager and will work closely with the RCM Management Team and staff.

Are you ready to make a difference at Mindpath Health as an AR Specialist? In this role, you'll focus on managing accounts receivable with a keen eye for detail and superb customer service skills. Based remotely in Arizona, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Florida, you'll be at the heart of our mission to increase access to mental health care and help people thrive. Your primary responsibility will be collecting outstanding receivables while adhering to our established policies and procedures. You'll handle various claims, working closely with insurance companies, patients, and physicians to ensure timely payment and resolution of denied or rejected claims. Communication is key, and you’ll need to effectively express yourself both verbally and in writing while maintaining professionalism at all times. With around 3 years of billing experience, you will utilize your knowledge of insurance payer requirements, coding, and guidelines to maximize collections efforts and enhance overall performance in accounts receivable. As part of a dynamic team, your proactive approach to identifying trends in billing and collections will contribute significantly to our revenue cycle management.
