Job SummaryThe CMO - Chief of Staff is a highly strategic and operational role that serves as a key advisor and right-hand partner to the Chief Marketing Officer of a $6.5B+ intelligent data infrastructure company. This leader is responsible for driving cross-functional alignment, optimizing the effectiveness of the Marketing Leadership Team (MLT), and ensuring smooth execution of marketing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.By collaborating cross-functionally, you will assist in developing and managing resourcing plans, empowering our team to execute and innovate with agility. Additionally, you will serve as a critical partner to senior leaders, engaging in diverse ad hoc projects that span from business decision support to fostering relationships with external partners. Lastly, you will take charge as a Program Manager for key initiatives, driving both the strategic vision and seamless execution of projects.Job RequirementsStrategic Planning & Execution: Work closely with the CMO to define and execute the strategic marketing agenda. Lead annual and quarterly planning processes, drive data-driven future decisions, steer business initiatives from start to finish, and manage Marketing MBR, QBR, and EMBR processes.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key facilitator for the Marketing Leadership Team (MLT), develop and track crucial OKRs and KPIs. Foster stronger cooperation between global, regional, and partner teams.Operational Excellence: Refine marketing and sales processes and governance models for increased efficiency and scalability. Identify ways to streamline communication and decision-making across organizations and lead effective meetings with excellent planning and coordination.Program Management: Oversee and support specific projects and initiatives precisely. Handle budget and HR operations, including requisition approvals and headcount management.Talent Management and Development: Support the CMO in talent management initiatives, including performance reviews, talent planning, and succession planning. Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance within the marketing organization. Collaborate with HR to address talent related issues effectively.EducationMinimum of 15+ years of related work experience.Experience preferred in high-growth B2B technology, SaaS, or data storage industries.Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with executive stakeholders.Strong business acumen and adept at translating marketing and sales strategies into operational execution.Expertise in budget management, tracking OKRs and KPIs, and strategic planning.Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.Highly organized, meticulous with details, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced global environment.Experience with marketing analytics, CRM, and project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Asana, Smartsheet).Proven ability in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Compensation: The target salary range for this position is 208,420 - 269,720 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
