Ultrasound Tech, Full Time

As an Ultrasound Tech in Clarke County, your primary responsibilities will include operating advanced ultrasound equipment to conduct diagnostic exams and performing routine invasive procedures. You'll also provide patient care to all age groups and collaborate effectively with staff and radiologists to ensure seamless operations.

To qualify as an Ultrasound Tech at our facility, you need to have graduated from an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or have equivalent experience. While no minimum experience is required, BLS certification is mandatory, and you must become registered with the ARDMS within six months of employment.

Prior work experience for the Ultrasound Tech position is preferred but not strictly required. We welcome recent graduates as well as those with some experience to apply, making this a great opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment.

As an Ultrasound Tech, you are required to obtain registration by the ARDMS within six months of employment. If you specialize as a vascular sonographer, additional registration as RVT or RVS is also necessary during this time.
