We seek a Productivity Engineer II with advanced expertise in DevOps practices, software development workflows, and cloud-based infrastructure to drive innovation and efficiency across our engineering teams. Building on the foundational skills of the Productivity Engineer I role, this position emphasizes technical leadership, architectural contributions, and scaling developer experience initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to design and implement scalable systems, foster cross-team collaboration, and lead initiatives that significantly impact productivity and development quality.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Developer Experience Leadership: Leading initiatives to optimize developer workflows, enhancing build, test, and deployment processes across teams. Championing seamless and efficient development environments by addressing systemic pain points and implementing impactful solutions.
• Advanced Automation and Tooling: Designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with team needs.
• System Architecture Optimization: Architecting and implementing scalable distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and cloud-native solutions to support organizational growth and technical excellence.
• Standardization and Best Practices: Driving the adoption of coding standards, process improvements, and best practices to ensure high-quality software development and consistent workflows across teams.
• Monitoring, Metrics, and Optimization: Enhancing system observability by implementing advanced monitoring and alerting solutions, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, and ensuring infrastructure efficiency.
• Mentorship and Collaboration: Mentor junior and mid-level productivity engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align productivity initiatives with business objectives.
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
• 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a productivity role with proven success in enhancing productivity through technology solutions
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
