Overview 

We are looking for a qualified Business Systems Analyst to develop and operate the analytics and reporting solutions for our systems. This role supports company functions that enable design and construction of telecommunications networks. 

 

You must be self-motivated to learn, find answers and solve problems.  Successful candidates will be able to understand the needs of the business, translate that into a vision with defined deliverables, and lead cross functional resources to deliver. Candidates with analytical background and experience in leading cross functional teams will have greater success in the role. Candidates should be agile in nature and welcome challenges.  This is a remote role. All qualified candidates MUST live in the Charlotte, NC area and be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship at any time. In addition, we do not work with C2C.

 

  

Duties & Responsibilities 

·       Design, develop and support business data management reporting systems and services utilizing Smartsheets application

·       Participate in business design process and architecture roadmap to provide a technical and business perspective

·       Actively and consistently support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

·       Gather and process raw data at scale (including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, write SQL queries, etc.) 

·       Profile data to measure quality, integrity, accuracy, and completeness 

·       Develop and implement tools, scripts, queries, and applications for ETL/ELT and data operations

·       Manage life cycle of multiple data sources

·       Work closely with stakeholders on the data demand side (analysts and data scientists). 

·       Work closely with stakeholders on the data supply side (domain experts on source systems of the data)

Desired Skills and Experience 

 

·       Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering is required

·       Telecommunications or Utilities industry experience required

·       Strong ability to gather data, prepare data, analyze data sets in SmartSheets and Visio, and tell the story via PPT.

·       Experience with SQL, MySQL, and other database technologies experience a plus

·       Hands-on working experience with RDBMS, SQL, scripting, and coding

·       Successful candidate should be able to work independently while meeting tight deadlines

·       Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software is preferred

·       Experience with Visio or SmartSheet application is preferred

·       Experience with visualization or BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred

 

 

Compensation

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a long-term consulting engagement, with an hourly range of $50-$60. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
