Role Overview

Play an important role in the resident experience by creating clean, healthy and comfortable environments while advancing your career.

 

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2 for Holy Family Manor, a skilled care facility located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  This position will oversee the daily housekeeping and laundry operations. Will report to the General Manager and manage a team of 15 hourly employees. This is a day shift position, with occasional weekends as needed.

  • monitor housekeeping performance against standards for client satisfaction;
  • be responsible for driving client and resident satisfaction scores;

  • recommend changes in operations based on standards;
  • facilitate clear and efficient communication with internal clients;
  • identify appropriate resources, and assist in implementation plans;
  • foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development;
  • supervise and direct staff to exceed resident and client expectations.

What You Bring

  • two or more years' experience in managing Housekeeping and Laundry operations, ideally in a healthcare or senior living environment;
  • strong knowledge of floor care;
  • experience driving customer service and client satisfaction results;
  • excellent interpersonal skills;
  • ability to lead and mentor a team;
  • experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;
  • proficiency with computers and other technology.
