Patient Access Specialist - McCall Part-Time & Flex

Overview

At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Patient Access Specialists strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences. This customer service position is often the first person a patient encounters when entering the St. Luke’s McCall Hospital. This important role supports exceptional interactions to ensure professional, timely and accurate written and verbal communication with both patients and caregivers (both in person and by phone).

 

Shift Details: We have a part-time and a flex position available. 

  • Part-time schedule Thursday-Sunday 2100-0700 (9pm-7am).
  • Flex position covers as needed with no guaranteed hours and a variable schedule. Open availability including nights and weekends required. 

 

What you can expect from this role:

  • Registration, scheduling, and referral coordination for patients
  • Discussions on financial options and/or explanations of insurance coverage, including authorizations, verifications, and estimates
  • Use a variety of technologies, tools and resources to support departmental workflows
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
