Timmons Group is seeking a Licensed Surveyor to join our Survey group for our Richmond, VA office location.
The Licensed Surveyor is responsible for the successful management of assigned projects and for the management of assigned client accounts. The successful candidate will manage/perform design related surveying projects using relevant office software, modeling and CADD technology.

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of managing various design-related surveying projects while ensuring exceptional client service. You'll utilize state-of-the-art office software like Civil 3D, along with CADD technology, to bring your projects to life. Your responsibilities will include managing assigned projects, nurturing client relationships, and overseeing the technical quality and profitability of your work. With your extensive experience, you’ll coordinate project staff, manage schedules, and keep lines of communication open with our Division Manager and various stakeholders. You’ll perform critical calculations using surveying formulas, help create machine control models, and adopt GPS/RTK technology where needed.
