Tuesday Lab builds delightful robots. We are driven by a desire to use the most advanced methods in robotics to bring joy into homes around the world – to make everyday life easier and more fun.
We are engineers, researchers, builders, life enjoyers. We love living among our creations, and our mission is to make our magical world of animated objects accessible to everyone.
We are a small company sprinting to launch, so you should expect to work very hard – but the reward will be a robot in your home.
We are seeking a product marketing manager to own and drive all product and marketing efforts—from strategy to execution—for a first-of-its-kind consumer robotics product. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design and external creative agencies to collect market insights, develop product strategy and guide execution for our home robot.
This is a unique role that’s great for someone who wants to be involved early on in a company, making high-impact decisions that will directly determine the success of the robot, and thus, our company.
Responsibilities:
User Research & Testing: Design and conduct user studies to validate product concepts (e.g., character sketches, robotic behaviors, pricing) and guide product decisions
Go-to-Market Strategy: Define product positioning, messaging, and launch plans to drive pre-sales and sales targets
Agency & Contractor Management: Engage and lead external teams (creative, PR) while ensuring a consistent brand vision
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with engineering and design to integrate marketing insights into product development and user experience
Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay on top of consumer trends and competitor moves, refining messaging and strategy as needed
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze key metrics (pre-sales, sales) to iterate on campaigns and demonstrate ROI
Qualifications:
Proven Experience: 5+ years in product marketing (or MBA + 3+ years) at a consumer hardware or toy company, with a track record of successful product launches
Hands-On Leadership: Comfort operating as the only marketing hire, driving both high-level strategy and fast day-to-day execution
Analytical & Creative: Solid grasp of marketing analytics alongside a penchant for compelling storytelling
Startup Mindset: Adaptable, resourceful, and ready to sprint on tight timelines with limited resources
Location: Ability to work in-office in NYC at least four days a week
If you don’t have these qualifications, but you really want to do this job, you should apply for it anyway. This is a startup: passion and work ethic count for a lot.
What Tuesday offers:
The opportunity to play a critical role in deploying robots into the home. This is awesome for people who have thought about becoming founders themselves, or are looking to apply their industry expertise to a high impact career that brings more joy into the world.
You will be surrounded by other people like you: people with deep expertise, who love playful applications, and are excited about building the future.
PTO, health insurance, 1 flexible remote day per week (we trust that you will work hard no matter what, and we hope this makes it easier for you to do a good job while taking care of your personal needs), a little treat on Tuesdays.
If an employer mentions a salary or salary range on their job, we display it as an "Employer Estimate". If a job has no salary data, Rise displays an estimate if available.
