We needed people who could seamlessly blend strategic vision with hands-on product management, who could effortlessly move from understanding customer needs to coordinating cross-functional teams. And that’s exactly why our Product team exists. Part Product Visionary, part Business Strategist, part Customer Advocate. We are a team of digital evangelists, bankers, fintech-ers and some less obvious backgrounds. Our offices are in Vietnam but we operate from all over the world.

What you’ll be doing

  • The Product Owner (PO) role will work closely with the Business, Design, Engineering teams to manage the full product development lifecycle, from concept and customer research, to design, launch, iteration, growth and continous improvement and support. We are recruiting for POs for our Origination, Payments and Lending portfolios.
  • Own and define the products’ vision, strategy and roadmaps in partnership with key stakeholders, evaluating priorities and assessing ambiguous trade-offs
  • Understand target customer personas and needs, and leverage this knowledge to define and guide the product development process with a hypothesis-based problem-solving mindset
  • Manage and prioritize backlogs, plan sprints and lead engineering teams to advance user stories into production, ensuring deliverables meet high standards
  • Enable the use of data in products systematically, and use data to measure the success of product initiatives, and to inform product decisions and prioritization
  • Align with stakeholders to achieve buy-in and ensure that product scopes, decisions, prioritizations and timelines are well understood
  • Proven track record as a PO in high-growth digital / tech companies, leading digital products from inception to completion in an agile environment. A plus if in banking / finance-related areas (payments, lending, crypto etc.)
  • Computer engineering or related technical background a strong plus
  • Strong business acumen. Experience in strategy consulting or similar problem-solving roles a plus
  • Capacity to navigate in ambiguous, agile, fast-paced and high-stress situations, managing challenging technical and business stakeholders with strong influencing skills
  • Highly skilled in the “craft” of product development, with a passion for innovative customer experiences, digital products, and the latest digital trends
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong attention to detail, with an entrepreneurial, highly practical but curious mindset, and a street-smart “feel” for the pulse of the target consumer
  • Track record of leadership and achievement
  • Related certifications and delivery experience in Scrum, Agile a plus.
