Stewardship Coordinator, CMNS (VPUR)

Job Description Summary

Organization's Summary Statement:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stewardship Coordinator to join the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences (CMNS) development team. This person will oversee a comprehensive donor stewardship program, ensuring every contribution is acknowledged appropriately and in a timely manner. This individual will collaborate closely with leadership and development teams to craft personalized and meaningful communications to our top donors, while also managing various stewardship activities.

This individual will also develop and execute a strategic plan for donor communications and outreach throughout the year, segmented by areas of support, to highlight the impact of donations and express gratitude. This includes communications for the Dean’s Circle and other top donor groups. They will also implement and manage an annual impact piece from the Dean that reports on the top areas of giving for the unit, in partnership with CMNS Communications. In addition, this person will assist with organizing and executing donor relations events to enhance relationships and engagement.


Physical Demands:
Hybrid office environment. Will be required to work evenings and weekends as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: One (1) year of professional administrative experience. Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education. Knowledge of office administration and organization. Skill in acting with discretion and handling confidential information appropriately. Skill in oral and written communication. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products. Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws. Ability to multitask while demonstrating a commitment to customer service and sensitivity to a culturally and ethnically diverse community.
