Position Overview

The Product Manager will focus on organizational design, helping to create and manage department operations for the Global Card Products team. The Product Manager joins the Planning and Operations team responsible for designing and running the departments “operating system”, to coordinate and facilitate strategic and operational outcomes with speed, consistency, and high quality.  Your role will be crucial in building positive relationships, helping the team gain expertise through insights and information exchange, and delivering with consistency.

The Global Card Products department handles all consumer card-based payments, including Credit, Debit, Prepaid, BNPL, and Flex solutions and capabilities. Additionally, the department manages segment strategies such as Affluent, Card Benefits and all related technology platforms and infrastructure.

Essential Functions

  • Design, deliver, and run efficient and effective operating frameworks:
    • Design and implement mechanisms to alert, track, and accelerate OKRs and KPIs
    • Collaborate with various departments to define stakeholder engagement models and reporting mechanisms to achieve business goals.
  • Proactive management of high-visibility executive reporting:
    • Oversee the monitoring, reporting, and alignment of OKRs and KPIs.
    • Coordinate activities with Consumer Products (CP) and Global Portfolio Ops (GPO) teams.
    • Lead business reviews and create narratives/content for various audiences (i.e. PPT, data visualization) that provide strategic insights and updates to senior leadership and partners.
    • Lead quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes across the team and with Finance.
  • Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder engagement:
    • Manage prioritization activities for shared service resource allocation (i.e., Technology, Design, Data Science, Product Marketing, Dashboards).
    • Build relationships with global and regional product management, marketing, design, data sciences, technology, finance, and other internal stakeholders.
    • Facilitate to business reviews and provide insights to senior leadership.
  • Drive innovation and assist with managing the technology portfolio, collaborating with Product Owners to refine and prioritize shared resources.  This provides a unique opportunity to gain an understanding of all Products within the portfolio.
  • Lead special projects that span a variety of product management disciplines, based on individual areas of interest, capabilities and capacity:
    • Identify and recommend process improvements within the team, with stakeholders, and for clients (e.g., client onboarding, product delivery PLM, tech portfolio management) and continually assess optimization opportunities
       

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
