Led by Visa’s Chief Data Officer, the Global Data Office coordinates high-impact, complex, company-wide projects related to data business strategy, critical investments, policy development, and marketplace execution. Working closely with Visa’s Chief Privacy Officer, the Technology organization, the wider data community, and the full set of Visa’s global lines of business, the Global Data Office is evolving Visa’s data-related work with momentum and enthusiasm. Driven by its commitment to trusted use of data, Visa is seeking enthusiastic leaders who are change-agents and passionate about the future of data around the world.
The Sr. Manager, Strategy & Business Operations is responsible for supporting the Business Operations team, reporting to the Director of Business Operations. This individual will play an important role in driving the execution of critical business priorities for the Global Data Office. The position is responsible for consolidating, coordinating, and planning business deliverables which include Quarterly Business Reviews, OKRs, and Product Roadmap. The role requires a high level of professionalism, leadership, and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with a wide variety of internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, strategic, and collaborative skills combined with meaningful operational experience and the ability to work across a matrix business organization structure. This role is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of Data & AI innovation at Visa with exposure to key Product and Technology leads.
Essential Functions:
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across Product and Platform leads, ensuring seamless coordination and timely delivery
- Engage with key stakeholders across various levels of the organization to build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring alignment and support for critical data priorities
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Business Operations for the Global Data Office, providing expert guidance on products, platforms, and data initiatives
- Support the Head of Business Operations in synthesizing key information and developing internal presentations for GDO leadership team and quarterly business reviews
- Demonstrate knowledge of capabilities and technologies in a payments ecosystem and the ability to apply them in a wide range of situations from ideation to solution
- Lead internal tracking and monitoring of key operational metrics for productivity and efficiency across Product and Technology teams
- Develop internal communications to effectively convey operational goals, progress, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the Global Data Office practices and operations, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Lead and manage special projects ensuring timely and successful completion
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
