Senior Account Executive, Paid Media

ABOUT THE JOB

Fearless? Expert problem solver? Data-minded? Creative and Resourceful? This role is for you. We're looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Chicago Digital team.


The SAE, Paid Media is responsible for supporting the paid media team and driving planning, execution, and reporting across our programs. Other responsibilities include building and managing client relationships, presenting concepts helping to develop proposals and POVs on digital trends, and mining strategic work and data.


Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior team members with partner and channel identification, program structure and briefing, and client presentations.
  • Execute and optimize paid media campaigns across social and/or partnerships with fluid budget and aggressive back-end goals.
  • Maintain an understanding of the media landscape and ability to determine optimal partner/strategy for client goals, and negotiate rates.
  • Shares responsibility on reporting and helps drive forward-thinking strategy.
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of key client information including general business strategy, industry issues, products and services offered, key customers and competitors in the marketplace.
  • Assist with content partnership strategy and execution with the ability to provide recommendations to ensure content resonates with target audiences.


About You:
  • 2-3 years of paid media experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to think proactively and get ahead of client needs.
  • Possess an understanding of performance metrics and the ability to spot trends.
  • Self-starter with the ability to assist and manage projects with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Excellent communication skills, writing, and creative thinking.
  • Negotiation experience with outside partners inclusive of branded content and direct media buys or experience in-platform on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Strong organization, ability to manage time effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with an eye for detail and collaborate with team members to execute and follow through. 
  • Top-notch project management and organizational skills.


$56,000 - $83,000 a year
Pay range: $56,000 to $83,000/year USD
 
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
