Pros

Ashley's has the BEST benefits and PTO. Paid weekly, multiple ways to earn commission. Training is great!

Cons

You're only paid on delivery. You have furniture protection 15%, delivery 5$, mattresses 2%, base is minimum wage, and a bonus based on if you delivery more than 49k 4 months out of the year and 67k 8 months; meaning anything above that number is based on a scale of 4-8% of total delivery. Most of us got 4-6% sometimes 7%. If you dont reach that number even if it is only by 10$ you dont get a bonus. If your margins are over 50% then you get paid on a separate scale ringing anywhere from 400-800$. Sometimes people dont want to wait so you can get 60k in cancellations in just 1 month! So you start off in the negative for that month. At the time we had to tell people their things wouldn't be arriving for 12months or sometimes the items get recalled or something. The customer service up front wasn't the best. For a while we had 1 girl working the front country out of 5. She was awesome though! So be a good person and help out even if it isn't in your job description! Overall if you put your best into it and stay consistent and keep in contact with your customers after the sale then you will do good. Patience is key. I learned that now. If I would have stayed i would have been making over 70k a year. Now you have to get paid 18$ an hour for 4 months and get no of your sales before being put on commission.
