Diversity and inclusion are indispensable pillars in our purpose and ecosystem. Learning and improving knowledge and actions on the subject have been part of our daily lives since 2012, as a way to build an inclusive, diverse and safe environment for all people. In recognition of all this work, in 2018, CI&T was awarded at the UN for “Good employability practices for workers with disabilities” and, since 2019, we have Diversity & Inclusion as part of the People pillar of our corporate goals.
This is part of our belief that CI&T can generate social impact, increasing job opportunities for people from minority groups (Women, People with Disabilities, Black People and People from the LGBTQIA community), through the transfer of knowledge in technical and digital areas. In order for this number to grow and we can internally promote an increasingly inclusive, diverse, humane, respectful and empathic environment, we have several corporate actions underway, including in conjunction with other areas. These are initiatives based on thinking focused on experimentation, which has already been reflected in significant results and, most importantly: they are teaching us and strengthening us so that our impact is increasingly greater.

Affirmative Actions
Training: We believe in the power of knowledge and we know that the more we learn about issues related to Diversity, the more we become stronger. Promoting this knowledge internally and also beyond the boundaries of CI&T makes this journey more complete.
We recently launched a Diversity trail at CI&T University (Corporate University), with the objective of teaching extremely important concepts about each minority group: Women, Black People, People with Disabilities and LGBTQIA .
Affinity Groups: We have the presence of local affinity groups in some projects and areas of Enterprise Services. Affinity groups emerged within the context of a Business Unit and are now becoming corporate, expanding to the entire company. In addition to the exchange environment, the groups brought us learning about the importance of people's voices and involvement in projects for specific groups.
Diversity work group: Group composed of the executive layer, management and people from the company's Business Units. This committee meets and works to define the actions related to Diversity and Inclusion within its units. More than half of our GUs and Enterprise Services already have a strategic Diversity committee.
