• Flex 80 Schedule – working 80 hours over a two-week period allows employees to manage their time and schedules according to their individual needs.

General Dynamics Mission Systems hires employees and interns across many disciplines, including: computer science, engineering, math, physics, information systems and technology, security, finance and business. Our internships span from summer opportunities to year-long positions, which often result in full-time employment post-graduation.

High School / STEM

The High School Summer Internship Program offers high school students enrolled in STEM courses a unique opportunity to work under the supervision of a professional and well respected team of engineers. These interns are assigned individual mentors and gain experience through hands-on engineering design and problem-solving. They also receive career track guidance and are encouraged to pursue careers in science and engineering.

University

Our goal is to provide our interns with challenging opportunities to strengthen their technical, analytical, leadership and communication skills through a well-balanced, fun and impactful professional experience. Here at General Dynamics Mission Systems, we place a high value on our interns and the creative new thinking they bring to our business. Reservists and Guardsmen – Recalled to Service

As our way of honoring your continued service, General Dynamics Mission Systems provides industry-leading salary support to all Reservists and Guardsmen on our team. If your military pay is lower than your General Dynamics pay, we will pay you the difference during qualified military leaves.

When you are called to serve, you will receive:

• Pay differential benefits for up to 60 months (cumulative) for active duty deployments
• 80 hours of full pay and all additional hours at differential pay annually, for periods of annual training, active duty for training, or school
• All benefits and insurance for you and your family for up to 60 months
• Eligibility for potential pay increases in accordance with our policy
• Paid Time Off accrual
• Continued investment in your 401(k) retirement plan
• Reemployment rights after your return from duty

Military Internship Program

In partnership with DoD SkillBridge, General Dynamics Mission Systems provides a robust internship program designed to provide real-world corporate experience to transitioning service members.

The Military Internship Program is open to servicemembers and military spouses. It is specifically designed to help transitioning service members gain in-depth, on-the-job training/job shadowing experience. We want to make sure you have the information you need to make the very best decision about the next step in your career.

Program Highlights:
