Pros
- Great team - Amazing culture - Very good productCons
- The implementation process can get slightly repetitiveDiversity at Lever
Our commitment to diversity and inclusion started with a task force of just ten employees. We didn’t know it then, but this task force would take deep root in our culture — fundamentally shaping our trajectory. Since then, we’ve worked to create an environment where employees can thrive and bring their authentic selves to work without judgment. By working to eliminate bias in the workplace, we allow every employee the freedom to express themselves, to be open with their ideas, and pursue further opportunities for growth as they bring their best self to work every day.
Accountability to diversity, equity and inclusion are key. We provide education throughout an employee’s journey, create intentional recruiting efforts focused on diversity, give a fair and equitable performance and comp reviews, show weekly peer appreciation, or even offer inclusive features within our product. Diversity and Inclusion are continuous, and we at Lever are always on a quest to acknowledge, embrace and continue to learn and foster a safe environment that makes our employees feel welcome and at home.

The Crucial Role of ERGs
We are proud to feature Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) at Lever! ERGs are voluntary, employee-led groups that serve as a resource for members by fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with Lever's values and objectives. They are employee-led by design and are encouraged to be creative and experimental in its activities. That said, all ERGs are striving to achieve the following:
Foster rapport among members to help members find a greater sense of community and support within the larger organization.
Build awareness and empathy at Lever about the community/communities you represent, so there is a broader understanding across the company.
Partner with the People team and Lever leadership to make sure company-wide decisions and communications are as inclusive as possible, so that Lever practices continue to take into account different communities’ needs.
Encourage inclusive behaviors among Leveroos so that all team members are living our values through everyday actions.
Current ERGs: Black Leveroos Coalition, Delegation of Asian Minorities, Latinx, Leverettes, LeverHues (LGBTQIA Community), Lever Parents, Simple Machines (different abilities).
