Training: Our commitment to diversity means we believe all employees understand how to contribute to a diverse and equitable company. We equip our employees with the skills and awareness needed to make meaniingful contributions to these efforts.

Accountability: To help us be help accountable tou our DEI committee, we created our DEIC to ensure we are moving our organization forward in actvitating our values, taking action and holding true to our promises on all things related to diversity, equity and inclusion. 

Integrating Our DEI Commitment into the Rover Experience: In alignment with Rover's core values and community guidelines, the Rover Product and UX teams strive to build new features and products on our site to support the needs and safety of all pet owners and sitter, with a focus on inclusion for marginalized groups.

Employee Resource Groups 

Our ERGs are voluntary, employee-led groups made up of individuals who join together based on common interests, backgrounds, or demographic factors with the intent to create a safe space for all.

Most of us are pet parents, and many of us are sitters or dog walkers on Rover, too. We’re a team of animal lovers devoted to the safety, health, and happiness of all dogs and cats.

Dogs

Our dogs are our family. We’ll provide funds to help you adopt or foster a dog. And whenever you need to get away, we’ll help cover your dog’s staycation with an awesome sitter.

No one likes running on empty. We have stocked fridges, coffee, soda, and lots of treats (for humans and dogs). And every Tuesday, we offer a company lunch for all employees.
