Pros
- One of the main thing I love about TI is good work-life balance. Company always promotes for family-first. No matter how critical the deadline is family is always the first priority. Obviously have to communicate this to our internal stakeholders, but everyone is understanding and supportive including the managers. - Everyone helps out one another. During my 6 years at TI, whenever I have been stuck on a challenging task, i have always had team-members be there for me and vice-versa. - Great rewards and recognition. You get recognized and evaluated annually. You do great job, you will be rewarded immensely. Additionally, TI has profit-sharing program which employees get up to additional amount of $$$ - Always opportunity for moving to different roles or trying out new things. For example, work in a different IT area or perhaps try out a whole new different role not related to your field.Cons
There not too much of disadvantage of working for TI. It's great company overall. I have seen people comment that i can get stressful; however, I know in the IT section everyone is willing to help and listen to you. If your getting burned out or work being stressful, then that should be communicated to your manager. Manager is always listening and supportive!Focusing on inclusion
TI values every voice and encourages TIers to bring their full selves to work and share their ideas. We are different by design, and believe that our diverse backgrounds and perspectives make our products more innovative, and our company stronger. We work to create an inclusive culture where we respect and encourage ideas, and where our people know that they can succeed and build long-term careers.
Our employee resource groups
For more than 30 years, the TI Diversity Network (TIDN) has helped educate and elevate topics that matter to employees. The TIDN started in 1989 and today includes thousands of members in 15 different employee resource groups.
The TIDN provides a community that promotes a sense of belonging through open dialogue, education, volunteerism, well-being, and opportunities for professional development and business engagement. It includes networks for women, Black and Hispanic/Latino/x employees, veterans, LGBTQ employees and allies, employees with disabilities, and employees of faith. TIDN includes three faith-based ERGs, Muslim Employee Network, Christian Employee Network and Jewish Employee Network. As a global company, the TI workforce represents a wide range of diverse worldviews and for many employees, faith is the foundation of their core values and self-identity. Every network is open to all TIers, and the company encourages employees to join a network and get involved.
