The Finance manager oversees the financial planning and analysis processes for international therapeutics ($12Bn). Provides financial guidance and coordinates main forecasting cycles such as Plan, LBE and LRP. This role manages actuals reporting and oversees HQ expenses. The Finance Manager interacts closely with areas, international, and global finance teams. This role is key in driving improved insights and efficiencies across international therapeutics finance. Manages one direct report and responsible for their development.
Responsibilities
Set up process timelines for international planning cycles in partnership with GCF and international leadership team; define international calendar and main activities.
Prepare international guidance by aligning all stakeholders and provide best available information at the time of issuance, define requirements for financials and collect requirements for therapeutic areas.
Coordinate book and presentation preparation, provide thought leadership on how to organize content and elevate the right insights.
Prepare and deliver month end close deck ensuring high quality and executive ready materials that highlight key business drivers.
Consolidate LBE Financials, prepare and deliver Commercial Business Review deck. Ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
Oversee and drive PBI efficiencies, work with the Areas and IMCO TAs to incorporate frequently used views and drive improvements. Optimize ways of working with Areas and key stakeholders.
Manage preparation of Sales, P&L and Expense schedules/templates that aid insight collections for LBE, Plan and LRP cycles. Partner closely with the international finance TA teams.
Load / manage forecast in BPC under the guidance of international leadership.
Manage and develop Senior Financial Analyst
Prepare and review the results of prestigious Numero Uno award program.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
CPA or MBA a plus.
Minimum 7+ years of progressive and related experience.
Strong expertise in commercial finance for a large pharmaceutical company is required.
Experience supporting matrix organization and stakeholder alignment.
Experience with SAP BPC preferred.
Strong Analytical and technical skills to continuously improve processes.
Understanding /Acumen of Finance with strong knowledge in planning, forecasting, accounting processes.
Ability to understand the needs of the various business teams to appropriately plan for growth and change.
Excellent problem-solving skills, including innovative and creative solutions.
