The Shelter Task Force Coordinator supports disaster sheltering and housing transition efforts by working with local, state, tribal, and voluntary agencies. This role assesses sheltering needs, identifies recovery housing solutions, and ensures a survivor-centric approach to shelter transitions. Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, streamlining assistance, tracking housing transition progress, and coordinating shelter units such as travel trailers or hotels. The position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and field coordination skills in high-pressure environments.
