Acceldata investors include Insight Partners, March Capital, Lightspeed, Sorenson Ventures, and Emergent Ventures.About the JobAs a Sales Development Representative at Acceldata, you will play a vital role in driving the company's growth by identifying and qualifying potential business opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads and establish connections with prospective clients, showcasing Acceldata's value proposition. Collaborating closely with our sales and marketing teams, you will contribute to building a robust opportunity pipeline and converting prospects into satisfied customers.We’re looking for someone who will:• Conduct 100-200 calls and written outreach including strategic email campaigns and LinkedIn messaging to generate new leads and build a strong sales pipeline.• Work closely with your territory Account Executives to collaborate on target account planning and outbound messaging.• Research target accounts and identify potential customers, industries, and market segments within your territory for targeted outreach.• Understand and effectively communicate Acceldata's value proposition to prospective customers, tailoring messages to specific audiences.• Qualify leads based on established criteria and nurture them through the sales funnel.• Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to align strategic personalized outbound to key accounts and leverage ABM marketing campaigns.• Follow up with inbound leads generated from marketing campaigns.• Leverage “social selling” techniques to identify potential prospects and targets who might benefit from the Acceldata platform.• Continuously refine and improve outbound messaging and communication strategies based on insights gained during discovery calls, account research, and internal collaboration.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales-related activities in CRM software.• Continuously stay informed about industry trends and participate in education training sessions on Acceldata’s products and sales skills.• Exceed your monthly quota for sourcing qualified opportunities.What makes you the right fit for this position?• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.• Proven track record as a top-performing SDR with 2+ years of experience in enterprise software sales.• Passionate about data technology and eager to learn about innovations in data observability. Bonus if you have direct sales experience in products related to data management (ETL, MDM, DW, EIM), analytics, quality, or observability.• Previous experience with technology and tools used in this role: Google G-Suite, Salesforce, Close.io, Outreach, Cognism, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Triblio, and Chorus• Adept at conducting outbound prospecting and generating qualified leads.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a persuasive and engaging approach.• Strong research and analytical abilities to identify target markets and potential clients.• Ability to handle and learn from objections and rejection on a daily basis.• “Growth mindset” - learn from mistakes, stay positive, find a path to win, look to the future, not the past.• Proactive self-starter with inherent motivation to meet and exceed performance goals.• Desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment where your contributions will be recognized and celebrated with significant career advancement opportunities.Expected Hours Of Work• The employee will be expected to work 40 hours weekly and must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.• Working hours may vary depending on the territory supported in this role.• Hybrid work schedule with 4 days onsite at company headquarters in Campbell, CA.• 10% travel is expected for conferences and company meetings.Life @ Acceldata#LifeAtAcceldata is all about working with some of the best minds in the industry and experiencing a culture that values an ‘out-of-the-box’ mindset.
