Accenture Flex employees work in their local metro area onsite at the project, significantly reducing and/or eliminating the demands to travel.Key Responsibilities:• Responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.• You will be expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert (SME) with deep functional knowledge in the freight and logistics industry.• You will be required to actively participate and contribute in team discussions, as well as provide solutions to work-related problems.• Develop innovative and efficient application solutions to meet client requirements.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful application implementation.• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve application development processes• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team membersKey Technical skills:• General database knowledge (create PDBs, objects, proper use of storage and tablespace configurations)• Modern database design practices• Performance tuning/designing for performance and stability of applicationsBasic Qualifications:• Minimum of 6 + years of work experience• Minimum of 5 years experience in shell scripting with python• Minimum of 5 years experience with Oracle DBA• Minimum of 5 years experience with Transact SQL• Minimum of 5 years experience in the Freight and Logistics industry• HS Diploma / GEDPreferred Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree or Associate Degree• Logistics applications experience• Experience in Configuration & Release Management, CSS HTML, and Pandas Python Library• Experience with performance tuning of complex applications• Impact analysis of database changes to application stability, performance and availability• Experience in SRECompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
