Account Executive (Remote)

Climate Club is the carbon emissions reduction platform that leading enterprise companies use to drive sustainability across every department and every role. Our software platform is purpose-built to enable companies to engage and activate their employees to accelerate Net Zero targets and drive real business value. We work with some of the most recognizable organizations in the world to help them maximize the impact of their climate actions across their business, and are creating a new, exciting category at the intersection of enterprise software and climate tech.

Position Overview

Climate Club is starting to build our sales organization to partner with our founders to scale our GTM efforts. We are looking for an Account Executive who is self-motivated, customer-focused, passionate about climate and excited to help build out a structured sales process. You will have the opportunity to work for one of the most innovative SaaS companies in the market, driving new logo growth and expanding Climate Club’s footprint within our current customers.


Responsibilities


  • Partner closely with Climate Club founders to mature and drive company GTM
  • Identify and expand on assigned territory, meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities 
  • Help create the carbon reduction category by deliver presentations and demonstrations highlighting the advantages, required capabilities, features, and functions of people-powered carbon reduction and Climate Club 
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle while collaborating closely with cross functional teams including product, customer success and marketing 
  • Be the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future sustainability roadmap to drive Climate Club’s solution 
  • Ongoing account management to work with current customers to drive strategic engagement and expansion of business 
  • Work in a fast-paced, innovative environment, take initiative to get stuff done, make an impact, try new things and work in a collaborative culture


Job Requirements


  • 5+ years of field sales experience in the SaaS space
  • A track-record of success in selling SaaS subscriptions into net new complex accounts, demonstrated by overachievement of quota ( $1M+ of ARR) and strong customer references
  • Ability and comfort in negotiating and closing legal agreements with customers
  • Familiarity with solution-based selling, have experience managing a complex sales process and possess excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills.
  • Excellent executive level verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Experience partnering closely with founders on early sales processes
  • Quick learner and can thrive in a constantly evolving hyper-growth environment
  • Proactive mentality and excellent time management skills
  • A profound commitment to integrity, honesty, and ambition
