Assists DCF Federal Reporting Unit with quarterly federal reports by providing DDS’s DCF CAP data, preparing quarterly federal reports, and completing reconciliations. Submits monthly reports to include projected expenditures and explanation of variances. Assists in DDS development of annual and quarterly spending plans for SSA. Prepares financial impact statements and reports of current and projected budget expenditures. Cost allocation: Collects case data used to allocate costs monthly. Quarterly, forwards data to Federal Reporting Unit along with Cost Allocation Plan adjustments needed. Prepares monthly cost category and federal fiscal year analysis of administrative expenditures and obligations. Pulls DCPS reports of MER, CE, and Travel. Completes monthly and quarterly reports. Keys monthly reports in reporting system. Works with DCF VR Director to approve, sign, and submit SSA quarterly reports. Develops and maintains a projection system for administrative and medical costs. Provides variance explanations and projection updates monthly. Prepares data for annual plan and mid-year adjustments.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Three years of experience in professional accounting/auditing work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements: Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver's license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF.
Compensation: $41,870.40 annually. Salary may be dependent upon the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
