Job Description:

The diesel mechanic will maintain and repair diesel trucks, ranging in size from tractors/trailers, heavy duty trucks, and step-vans to pick-up trucks. The mechanic is also responsible for maintaining and repairing the mounted contractor's equipment contained on those vehicles.

About the Position:

Position: Diesel Mechanic

Location: St Louis, MO

Pay: $25-30/hour plus overtime.

Job Duties:

Maintaining and repairing diesel trucks, ranging in size from tractors/trailers to medium duty trucks

Maintaining and repairing the mounted contractor's equipment contained on vehicles

Documenting preventive maintenance efforts as required to achieve compliance with D.O.T. regulations

Requirements:

3-5 years of mechanic/diesel experience
Valid Driver's License required
Must have own tools
Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Ability to pass safety training exams and the background check required
Prioritize safety, is conscientious, dependable and quality-minded.
