Talent Development Operations Specialist | Acorns
Acorns is seeking a Talent Development Operations Specialist who will play a key role in overseeing the systems and day-to-day operations of our global Talent Development function. This position requires expertise in talent management systems, program administration, and a passion for ensuring the smooth execution of initiatives that align with Acorns' mission and values.
Acorns is a remote-first organization, offering the flexibility to work remotely while providing optional access to office space in Irvine, CA.
What you will do at Acorns:
Partner with the Sr. Director of Talent Development to scale the global Talent Development function, supporting the implementation and administration of talent programs and initiatives that support organizational performance and growth.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of Talent Development programs, including onboarding, mentorship, engagement, performance management, and recognition, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Serve as the administrator and primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders regarding current and future global Talent Development systems and tools, including Workday LMS & Talent Optimization, Peakon Engagement Platform, Together Mentorship Platform, Udemy, Donut and Confluence.
Design and deliver global training resources, including live sessions and supporting materials, to drive Talent Development initiatives across departments and the broader organization.
Work closely with managers, IT and HR Business Partners to address ad hoc development needs, ensuring operational excellence and providing solutions that enhance team performance and growth.
Oversee reporting on program outcomes, identifying areas for continuous improvement while providing actionable insights or dashboards to leaders and HR Business Partners on development needs across departments and the broader organization.
Partner with managers and leaders to ensure adherence to mandatory training, performance management processes, and development initiatives, tracking completion and effectiveness for compliance and continuous improvement.
Coordinate relationships with vendors and external training providers, and oversee audits to ensure Talent Development programs are executed efficiently, on time, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
What You'll bring to Acorns:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
5-7 years of experience in organizational development, talent management, learning & development (L&D), performance management, and training facilitation
Expertise in managing and administering talent management systems, with a strong emphasis on Workday
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate engaging training session and build strong relationships across all organizational levels

Compensation Information:
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $100,000 - $110,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, equity grants, and discretionary cash bonus awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
