We’re hiring a Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager to drive Ayden’s North American Technology Partnerships program. In this pivotal role, you’ll cultivate relationships with global and regional tech platforms, optimize our GTM efforts with partners, and scale Commercial Engine. You’ll oversee existing partnerships, identify new opportunities, and negotiate strategic terms... As a bridge between partners and internal teams, your seamless execution and thought leadership will elevate our partners’ success. Our robust tech partnerships portfolio includes industry giants like Adobe, Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Zuora and more.The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in partnership management within the Payments ecosystem, exceptional negotiation skills, and a keen commercial awareness to transform opportunities into impactful collaborations. Crucially, the candidate must have the ability to influence at the C-Suite and comfortable owning/delivering on commercial KPIs (i.e. driving top of funnel leads, margin put live, ensuring best-in-class integrations, Go-to-Market (GMT) planning/execution, embodying the Adyen Formula etc.). Experience with the POS landscape is a plus.As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in scaling our partnership organization to drive enterprise pipeline growth for the sales organization, contributing to the acceleration of our overall business growth trajectory and thought leadership on the evolution of the Payments ecosystem. If you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, and have a proven track record in optimizing partner management, we invite you to bring your ideas and initiatives to our ambitious team.What You’ll DoCultivate Relationships: Build and nurture strong partnerships with global and regional technology platforms across verticalsOptimize GTM Efforts: Strategize and execute partnership initiatives that align with our objectives, enhancing our go-to-market strategiesNegotiate Strategic Terms: Oversee existing partnerships and identify new opportunities, ensuring terms resonate with our strategic goalsBridge Communication: Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams, facilitating seamless execution and communicationThought Leadership: Provide insights into the evolving Payments ecosystem, contributing to our partners’ and organization’s successInnovation: Demonstrate Adyen's cutting-edge financial technology solutionProduct: Ensure technical integrations are developed to support the partnership to enable Merchants to access to full suite of products across Adyen and PartnersCollaboration: Work together with Adyen's global partnerships and sales teams by attending meetings with existing and potential partners and customersWillingness to travel (~30%+ of the time)Who You Are10+ years of experience in a direct partnership facing role, exceeding commercial KPI objectivesProven track record building and leveraging partnerships within the Payments ecosystem and working with strategic tech platforms (i.e. Adobe, Microsoft, Salesforce, Oracle - not all but some required)Experience with, and passion for, both GTM strategy & execution and product strategy; comfortable getting deep on product details while also going deep with in-market teams on partner/market needsAbility to think and operate like an entrepreneur, a go-getter mentality and see the bigger picture in channel management using a global and commercial mindsetThoughtful strategic thinker with a bias for action and a creative mind; comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with a high degree of ambiguityExcellent organizational skills as we are a flat organization with a lot of autonomyDesire to engage deeply with cross-functional partners across Product, Strategy, Sales, and MarketingThis role is based out of our New York or San Francisco officeThis is a full-time position with the ability to work a minimum of 40 hours/week (with a min 3 days in-office)You have full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in EnglishThe salary range for this role is $160,000-$200,000 + annual bonus + equity; to learn more about our compensation philosophy, please clickhere.
