You will lead the group responsible for the construction & implementation of effective process, the prioritization of resources, and the implementation & adoption of key technical systems within the A+E Networks Marketing team.MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO: Senior Director, Marketing Account ManagementThis role is multidisciplinary and an integral part of creating a marketing center of excellence, with key areas of responsibility including:Process & Project Management:• Resource allocation & strategy: Monitor priorities and workflow to more efficiently manage resources. Ensure resource allocation is aligned to division & company priorities and goals.• Process development, maintenance & improvement: Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to improve workflow and campaign management across all marketing groups. Review & assess processes to ensure working together in streamlined manner• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues pro-actively, developing plans to address issues and ensure timelines and deliverables are met.• Partner Relations: Facilitate strong cross departmental relationships between account management and key partners, ensure transparency & open discussion to enable timely delivery of campaigns• Budget Management: In partnership with finance team, oversee a centralized budget group that provides rigor in the deployment of budget across the marketing teams.Manage & Support Operational Best Practices:• Operational Guidelines: Outline best practices across the teams, maintaining documentation to help teams and new employees have a single info source for how the marketing team works.• Marketing Technology: Identify potential marketing technologies to help drive efficiency, including marketing automation. Work with IT to integrate technologies into the organizational infrastructure.• Technology Adoption: Plan for & guide the adoption of new technology features, educate stakeholders on current and future tech capabilities and lead training initiatives as needed.Partner & Team Management:• Partner Relations: Facilitate strong cross departmental relationships between account management and key partners, ensure transparency & open discussion to enable timely delivery of campaigns.• Team Management: Oversee a team of 8 account managers, providing guidance and support to ensure success project outcomes.• Team Learning & Development: Find opportunities to grow the teams account management skillset.WHAT YOU’LL LEARN: Senior Director, Marketing Account ManagementOn our team, you’ll be at the core of A+E Marketing efforts – working collaboratively with colleagues in a wide array of departments (Production, Creative, Digital, Programming, Legal, Social) to develop and optimize campaign operations processes. While creating new processes, dashboards, and systems, you’ll be encouraged to collaborate with both internal and external partners to brainstorm new paths forward and increase efficiencies. Your position is key to achieving marketing goals at A+E Networks.YOUR STORY: Senior Director, Marketing Account ManagementAs an experienced project/account manager, you’ll have a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex marketing projects on time and within budget. You will also have:• 15+ years of marketing experience with an emphasis of campaign and marketing operations or production.• Strong leadership skills, inspiring and motivating a team of account managers to achieve high standards.• Advanced knowledge of project management tools, including AirTable (A+E’s project management tool) and an interest in exploring any system that could automate or increase efficiencies• Strategic mindset with the ability to marry business strategy to marketing execution and processes• Strong communication skills (written & verbal), negotiation skills & partner management.• Media & Entertainment industry experience is a plus.CompensationAnnual Pay Range: $173,274 - $202,730Annual Incentive Target: 20.00%The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of theminimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role willbe based on a number of different factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills,competencies, location, and experience.
