Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Associate (Electrical) to join our dynamic team in Singapore, Singapore. As an integral part of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing and managing electrical systems for various projects, with a focus on delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

  • Lead and manage medium to large-sized electrical engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
  • Develop and oversee electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other building components
  • Prepare detailed project specifications, cost estimates, and design programs
  • Manage project finances and resources to meet agreed-upon deliverables within budget
  • Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and progress
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and relevant codes and standards
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our electrical engineering practices and methodologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution (CIBSE/IET/IMechE Engineering Council accredited preferred)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record in design and project management
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including local Singapore regulations
  • Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar tools
  • Experience with BIM software packages and their application in electrical design
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage resources, timelines, and budgets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
