Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Demolition Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and overseeing the safe and efficient demolition of structures in various projects throughout the region.

  • Develop comprehensive demolition plans and strategies for diverse structures, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with local regulations
  • Conduct thorough structural assessments and risk analyses to determine the most appropriate demolition methods
  • Design and implement safety protocols to protect workers, the public, and surrounding structures during demolition operations
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate demolition activities and timelines
  • Utilize advanced software tools to create detailed demolition models and simulations
  • Oversee the execution of demolition projects, ensuring adherence to plans, safety standards, and environmental regulations
  • Provide technical guidance and support to demolition teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including demolition plans, safety reports, and project records
  • Stay updated on the latest demolition technologies, techniques, and safety practices in the industry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license; Certified Demolition Engineer certification is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in demolition engineering or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles, demolition techniques, and safety protocols
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and structural analysis tools
  • Strong project management skills with experience in large-scale demolition projects
  • In-depth understanding of local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
  • Expertise in environmental impact assessment and waste management related to demolition projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage teams and interact with stakeholders
  • Willingness to work in challenging environments and adapt to evolving project requirements
