Job Description

As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work on a range of projects in the energy and renewable power sector. Projects range from small scale power generation to large-scale projects from concept through to detailed design stages across various industries, including future fuels and renewable energy projects, power generation and CCUS.

What will a day in this role look like?

  • Providing engineering design and technical advisory services to a diverse range of clients; ensuring all technical design work is completed in accordance with local standards and sound engineering principles
  • Working closely with multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure timely provision of coordinated and quality engineering deliverables
  • Contribute to all phases of project development from mechanical sketches and scheme models to commissioning and project review meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to estimate project timelines accurately, promptly identify potential delays, and communicate changes in project scope.
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members, assigning, and ensuring delivery of tasks

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, electrical or civil engineering (or equivalent)
  • Technical experience in power generation, industrial process, CCUS and/or future fuels projects, preferably within a consulting environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
  • Chartered status or actively working towards chartership
