Aerotek Is Hiring Entry-Level Production Workers In Newark, NY!Location: Newark, NYPay Range: $17 - $18 per hourJob Description:As an Production Worker, you will perform a variety of tasks to assemble electronic components, including soldering, cable assembly, machine operation, and more. You'll work with minimal supervision to meet production schedules efficiently and accurately.Key Responsibilities:• Hand Soldering: Solder wires to electrical connectors and PCBs.• Electromechanical Assembly: Assemble components and sub-assemblies.• Assembly Instructions: Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics.• Documentation: Complete production documentation accurately.• Machine Operation: Operate machinery and hand tools.• Quality Assurance: Inspect work for quality and report issues.• Collaboration: Work with team members to meet production targets.• Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work area.Required Skills & Qualifications:• Technical Skills: Proficient in hand soldering and assembly processes.• Experience: Familiar with general assembly and hand tools.• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and blueprints precisely.• Communication Skills: Understand written and verbal instructions.• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.• Experience: Entry-level; prior experience in electronics or production is a plus.
