Work Location: Hoffman Estates, IL 

Employment Type: Full-time regular - hybrid (In Office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday), optional remote (Monday/Friday)

 

About this Opportunity 

Do you have experience of progressively increased responsibilities in a professional office environment? We are seeking a responsible, professional, take-charge Office Manager to support our firm’s growing operations in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. 

 

In this role, you will provide office administration to a team of engineers, architects, and consultants. 

 

Office Administration: 

- General Microsoft Office support 

- Respond to and direct incoming inquiries 

- Maintain and manage office accounts receivable and contract compliance database 

- Ensure office supplies are on hand 

- Coordinate with other Walker offices 

- Provide support to office staff for limited project administration 

- Assist in planning local office events and meetings 

- Assist corporate Human Resources with office and new hire administrative tasks 

- Assist corporate Accounting with office administrative tasks  

- Various tasks as required to keep a professional office running smoothly 


Required Skills: 

- An Associate’s and/or Bachelor's Degree with experience working in Business 

- Experience and aptitude with Microsoft Office Suite 

- High-level multitasking and management ability 

- Excellent writing and communication skills 

- Strong organizational skills 

- Enjoys taking the initiative and help improve office operations 

- Team player attitude and willingness to help 

- Excellent time management skills and ability to balance short-term deadlines with long-term goals 

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information 

- Experience with Deltek Vision preferred

$63,000 - $80,000 a year
Base salary + bonus, depending on experience. Total financial compensation resulting from a performance bonus can increase your earning potential.
