Company Description

Pay rate: $17 / hour - Use our Daily Pay benefit and get access to your pay as you need it. 

Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort boasts more than 3,000 accommodations and offers a great opportunity to meet and share stories with guests who arrive from around the world to enjoy Central Florida’s world-famous theme parks and attractions. Enjoy our world-class resort's surroundings and excitement, such as 14 heated outdoor pools, 14 hot tubs, and the state-of-the-art Shipwreck Island Water Park.

Job Description

As a Resort Experience Supervisor, you will: 

  • Coordinate activity and special event programs using themed concepts.
  • Assist in set-up and breakdown for special events.
  • Manage subordinate team members in the Activities/Kids Club department.
  • Interview, hire, and train team members; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline team members; address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Organize and update department files.
  • Plan parties for owners, guests, and team members.
  • Formulate an environment, which will increase team members’ morale and motivation, and promote team spirit.
  • Purchase and pick up supplies and equipment when necessary
  • Order, inventory, and distribute logo merchandise and sports equipment.
  • Prepare daily and monthly records and procedures for logo merchandise, marketing materials and other purchases in accordance with CFI and Westgate Resorts accounting.
  • Organize vendor reports and collect monthly payments.
  • Attend manager meetings and participate in team member orientation tours.
  • Ability to design, create and upkeep decorations.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in activity planning for adults and children.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license to drive company golf carts.

  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
