Accounting Lead
Affirm, a remote-first company, is looking for a Senior Accounting Lead with deep knowledge of accounting principles to drive efficient financial reporting processes.
Skills
- Proficiency in U.S. GAAP
- General ledger accounting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with NetSuite preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries related to cash operations, investments, and intercompany accounting
- Lead month-end closing processes and financial analysis
- Reconcile and review accounting transactions for accuracy
- Manage team members, coach, mentor, and oversee workpaper review
- Improve processes for timely monthly close and operational efficiency
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Lead ad hoc analyses and projects
