Model Risk Lead
Affirm is seeking an intelligent, driven professional to join our Model Risk Management (MRM) team. You will work on validating and monitoring machine learning models for credit underwriting and risk management.
Skills
- Knowledge of quantitative modeling in credit underwriting and risk management
- Experience with Python, SQL, scikit-learn, pyspark
- Detail-oriented with critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Perform independent challenges of machine learning models
- Collaborate with model owners to address validation findings
- Implement and maintain the company's Model Risk Management framework
- Work with Internal Audit, Internal Controls, and Compliance on audit and regulatory matters
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
