At Agrovision, we’re harnessing the power of data to revolutionize produce. We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially-minded Senior Commericial Analyst to support our CEO directly on some of the company’s most critical priorities. This is a high-exposure, high-impact role requiring exceptional judgment, speed, and adaptability. You will play a central role in shaping our global pricing strategy—translating harvest forecasts and yield curves into intelligent, market-driven pricing decisions—while working cross-functionally with farm operations, finance, and commercial teams. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, embraces ambiguity, and has a bias for action.
Marketing Intelligence and Strategic Insight: Provide executive-level insights based on industry supply, market trends, and global demand patterns. Leverage insights to provide recommendations on pricing opportunities and risks.
Pricing Strategy and Forecasting: Collaborate closely with farm and commercial teams to understand harvest forecasts, crop timing, yield curves, quality metrics, as well as retailer demand dynamics. Integrate this data into dynamic pricing forecast models to reflect supply/demand realities.
Regional Market Analysis: Adapt pricing approaches to the nuances of multiple global regions—taking into account cost-to-serve, channel dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive positioning.
Revenue Optimization: Develop and refine pricing models for both spot and contract sales, particularly focused on maximizing returns from blueberry sales.
Margin and Scenario Analysis: Conduct profitability and sensitivity analyses to inform strategic pricing decisions under varying yield, cost, and demand scenarios.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment between pricing strategy and execution.
Pricing Governance & Tools: Build scalable processes, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms to monitor pricing performance and ensure disciplined execution across regions.
5-7 years of experience in high-impact pricing finance or commercial analyst roles, ideally including a mix of banking/consulting and experience within a category disruptor in produce, agriculture, or Consumer Goods. Fast-paced, operationally complex environments are your comfort zone.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Agribusiness, or a related quantitative field (MBA a plus)
Fluent in financial modeling and analytics—with lightning-fast Excel skills and command of tools like Power BI, SQL, or similar. You’re the kind of person who builds dynamic models in hours, not days, and loves extracting insight from complexity.
Sharp commercial instincts. You don’t just run the numbers—you know how they tie to pricing strategy, margin, and growth.
Comfortable in the weeds and with the C-Suite. You can engage directly with operational teams in the field and also synthesize and present your insights to executives.
Experience in supply-driven or perishable product businesses (e.g. produce or CPG) is highly desirable.
Clear communicator with strong influencing skills. You’ll be working across geographies and functions, often representing the CEO’s perspective.
