AHRC NYC is seeking to hire an Employment Skills DSP for their Day Program in the Bronx.
Job Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Pay Rate: $17- $17.82 per hour based on education level plus an increase to $18 - $18.82 per hour after six months if in good standing.

Our organization is one of the leading providers of services for individuals with developmental disabilities in New York City, and we need passionate people to join our team! As a Direct Support Professional, your role will involve working closely with program participants to develop their social and daily living skills. You will support them on their journey towards independence and employment by assisting them with various activities throughout the day. This full-time position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, with a competitive pay rate starting at $17-$17.82 per hour, plus a raise after six months if in good standing. Your role also includes transportation of participants for appointments and social activities, as well as maintaining daily progress reports. We prefer candidates with experience working with individuals with disabilities, but more importantly, we are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic applicants who truly want to advocate for others.
