The Director of Community and Family Support Services with the support of the VP, Community and Family Support Services is responsible for the administrative supervision, management and development of the Community and Vocational Service programs, while ensuring compliance with OPWDD, ACCES-VR, DOL and OSHA regulations. This position requires travel to remote program sites on a regular basis to provide oversight and support.
Role Responsibilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
· 7+ years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
· 5+ years’ experience in leadership position
· Current working knowledge of OPWDD, DOL and ACCES-VR regulations; applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations.
· Must be able to display a high level of discretion and understand the sensitive nature of confidential information with superior emotional intelligence.
· Valid NYSDL
