Aircraft Mechanic I - Analysis/IT Support

M1 Support Services is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic I Analysis / IT Support:

  • Performs all required Maintenance Management Analysis functions in an Air Force-style Maintenance Control environment IAW the PWS, Company Policy, applicable AFIs, and industry standards.
  • Will perform other duties in a highly “cross-utilization/trained” environment. Will be required to perform at a high level of competency in one or more of the following areas: Maintenance Operations Center, PS&D, Data Integrity Team.
  • Performs contract-wide IT systems support functions IAW PWS, Company Policy, applicable AFIs, and industry standards.
  • Maintains aircraft and support equipment forms and records IAW AF procedures utilizing AF Information Systems and forms as required.
  • May perform transient aircraft support. CDDAR team member. Aircraft servicing/ground handling.
  • Maintains qualifications contained on the Special Certification Roster (SCR) as directed.
  • Shall assist other personnel and work centers as directed.
  • Position requires complying with unique commuting/travel requirements.

Additional Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of four years performing USAF aircraft maintenance control related functions and attainment of an Air Force 5 level (or equivalent) is required. Minimum 3 years performing IT systems support.
  • Working knowledge of principles applying to aircraft systems, concepts and applications of maintenance directives, data reporting, and using technical data is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Air Force supply and efficiency reporting procedures is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of the proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials is mandatory.
  • Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain the security clearance level as mandated by the government customer.
  • Must possess a current valid U.S. Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to move about both inside aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within close proximity of running equipment and aircraft.
  • Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude.
  • Must be able to work day, night, weekend, or overtime shifts as required.

Pay: $45.70 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
