The Role:

We are seeking Calibration Technicians of all levels to join our team at Aldinger Co, a leading calibration services provider.

Location: On-site at various customer sites in Dallas, TX and Surrounding Areas. Occasionally at our office in Dallas, TX

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites. 
  • Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation.  
  • Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards. 
  • Working directly with the client throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates on services needed 
  • Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards. 
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date. 
  • Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support. 
  • Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word 
  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills 
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record 
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations in the Dallas, TX area and occasional overnight out-of-state travel (1 to 2 nights once a month and potentially up to 1 week on a volunteer basis)  

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience  
  • Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment 
  • Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems 
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields 
  • Technical Degree or Certificate 
  • Military PMEL Training 
  • Metrology experience 
  • Experience with IndySoft
