Desktop Support Engineer

Align is looking for a highly experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our Managed Services team. The ideal candidate should have strong client-service skills and solid desktop troubleshooting experience.

Skills

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Technical support experience for desktop-related issues
  • Experience with Microsoft Office / O365 applications
  • Inventory control and hardware/peripherals management

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site desk side support for desktop-related and end user technical issues at multiple key managed services client locations
  • Provide outstanding customer service and IT support with a focus on Executive and VIP end users
  • Install, upgrade and remove desktop applications / user workstations
  • Troubleshoot general computer and server problems and ensure all systems are operating efficiently

Education

  • Minimum of 4 years of desktop support / end user technical support experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
