The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis provides financial planning and analytical support for functional business units and senior management.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Education Details: Finance, Accounting or related field required; Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
Years of Experience: Minimum seven (7) years of experience in relevant analytical and/or finance positions at a divisional or corporate level with at least four (4) years in a management or supervisory role.
Preferred Requirements
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Excellent problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
•Strong analytical capabilities and attention to details.
•Experience in working in a highly flexible and fluid organization.
•Previous airline experience preferred but not required.
•Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
•Database and/or Visual Basic (or similar) experience a plus.
•Experience creating reports or working with various BI tools a plus (e.g. Tableau, (PowerBI).
Job Duties
•Partner with various business unit heads to provide analytical decision making support and recommend and implement improvements to profitability and operational efficiency.
•Prepare operating, headcount and capital budgets and forecasts and monitor progress and trends through variance analysis.
•Provide analytical support to senior management and board of directors.
•Develop sophisticated financial models to assist in identifying cost saving and revenue generating opportunities.
•Work with department heads to design, track, and analyze KPI performance to provide accountability to the organization.
•Facilitate the strategic planning for the organization including headcount analysis, capital planning, and operational statistical analysis.
•Support and facilitate contract analysis and negotiations.
•Develop analysts and managers into well rounded leaders ready to take on management positions within any area of the organization.
•Ensure any direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities, as appropriate.
•Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
•Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
