We offer home, auto and accident and health insurance, as well as other specialty niche insurance products, through a large network of independent insurance agents, as well as directly to consumers.Job DescriptionThe Business Intelligence Developer Senior Consultant II provides the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of moderately complex Business Intelligence solutions and reports within Microsoft SQL Server BI stack and/or other tools. This role is responsible for the aggregation of data from multiple sources into an efficient data warehouse and assists with designing reporting solutions for very large multidimensional databases.Key Responsibilities• Adheres to documented SDLC steps and deliverables• Develops and updates technical documentation• Develops standard reports and functional dashboards based on business requirements• Develops and executes database queries and aids in development• Collaborates with teams to integrate systems• Assists with the evaluation and improvement of existing BI systems and processes• Conducts developer testing and troubleshooting• Maintains and supports data analytics platforms• Designs, builds, and deploys moderately complex BI solutions• Translates moderately complex business needs to technical specificationsEducation• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)Experience• 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)Supervisory Responsibilities• This job does not have supervisory duties.Education & Experience (in lieu)• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.CompensationCompensation offered for this role is $74,240.00 - 114,120.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.At National General, great things happen when our people work together.
